Dear Goalkeepers and Parents,

Welcome to Divergent Goalkeeping Academy. I am very excited to introduce to you this training program launching summer 2017. Starting in the summer, we will have goalkeeper specific training that will be split up by age group and will be held weekly. This website will show you what it’s like to be a modern-day goalkeeper, how to train properly, how we will schedule and run train sessions, and what Divergent Goalkeeping Academy will provide as a program. If you ever have any questions or concerns about Divergent Goalkeeping Academy please feel free to reach out to me. I am very excited to start this program with you all.

5/4 Torrent Training

We’ve had training the last 3 days and they’ve gone really well for me personally. I think I’ve been showing well. Unfortunate that I am missing our season opener because I am standing in a wedding (it was pre-discussed with the coaching staff prior to signing) because I think I’d have a good chance at making the first XI. 4/30/17 – Game vs. Marquette University (4-1 FT)

Today we played Marquette where I was called into the Starting XI. I had a decent warm up for the most part. On the goal that we conceded, I’m going to be hard on myself because I wonder if my starting position was higher that I could’ve made a faster and earlier exit to the ball served in. Today we played the school that I not only played at, but the school that I coach at. Despite the fact that we won I was impressed with the UW-Whitewater team as I thought they showed well in some very suspect conditions.
