I would have done this last night, but I’m predicting my nights will be late, therefore- doing these in the AM’s will be much more beneficial. I went about training like I normally would. We started out training with some fitness running 10 laps, I think I came in around 17:00-17:30 which isn’t too bad for 2.5 miles for a GK. Then we split off and did some GK training on our own (no GK coach last night). Then we jumped into a passing pattern, which I struggled with at times. Followed by a finishing drill and playing. After training I wanted to kick some long balls, but I then realized that I need to be a little more professional and manage my body a little better, since the training was a little more physically demanding – not sticking around to do extra may have been better.
