A little late on this post, but I’ve had plenty of time to reflect. For both matches I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to be in the Starting XI.
Given the goals that were scored on me, after reflecting, of course we all think that we could have done this or we could have done that but the reality of the goals that were scored – I don’t think there is much more I could have done. In the Lansing match (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNlPEeN8UOo) I don’t there is much more I could have done on either goal. The highlights don’t reflect it but I had to come up with a few big saves to keep the Torrent in the game. It was a hard fought and well earned 3 points on the road..
In the Kalamazoo FC match, I don’t mean to sound egotistical, but I don’t think there is much I could have done on all 3 goals. I could argue, just like the first Lansing goal, that I could have gotten my hand up quicker in the Lansing match and Kalamazoo match (almost identical goals). On goals 2 and 3 for Kalamazoo I felt left out to dry. But I’m not here to cast blame on anyone. There’s always room for improvement and tomorrow we all come back to training and get back to work.
On a side note, I’m still #Blessed 😉
